When you buy new fish no matter where, it is extremely important to quarantine the koi before putting then with your other koi. No matter what anybody tells you this is extremely important. You don't want to buy one koi and have it kill off all your other koi. Our tank is plastic with a steel frame and a pallet for transport. The tank is 1000 liters complete with a external pump, koi sand filter, bio filter and UV light.
